The Muench TTE 2 is completely a new E-bike. The body work is made from steel and aluminium is a space frame design. Front and rear suspensions are specially modified for our bike from Öhlins, because of the high battery weight. The brakes are from Brembo. The handling is perfect; we’ll have 52% front and 48% rear weight balance. The Siemens controller will be installed under the cladding. The frame is perfectly designed to integrate our motor. From the motor we go by a gear chain to the intermediate Shaft and from there by a drive chain to the rear wheel. The suspension type of the rear wheel is a single sided wing arm conversion. Our E-motors for our E-bike is specially made from Co. Siemens.
Because of the very compact design of our battery boxes, the fairing could be maintained slimmed to get a good performance at the race track. On the other side the fairing is made that there is no possibility to get in touch with our batteries. All connections between the batteries are soldered, the connections boxes are IP 54 within one box are six fuses and the junction of all six batteries lines. In the other box there is the charging relay and main contactor.
In case of a short circuit in any of our battery lines, the fuse will immediately blow and this line will then be powerless and electric condenser will be discharged within 5sec. There are two emergency buttons installed on in range of the driver one at the back for the marshal or maybe spectators
